Zen Meditation Group - Fall Sit Series
Late Fall Sit Schedule - 4 weeks

Join us for a quiet moment.
All are welcome, no prior meditation experience required or expected. Wear comfortable clothing. Chairs, blankets and bolsters are available to sit on or for making your seated posture more comfortable. Use of chairs or back support is recommended for beginners. Bring your own meditation cushion or bench if you have one.
The studio will have a warm temperature and soft lighting. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in and prepare for silence. The front door will be locked before we begin. If you are late, knock gently on the door and the group leader will let you in.
The sittings can be instructional depending on the group. Instruction may include: how to sit, breathing techniques, concentration/dealing with distractions, etc. The 60 min session will be broken up into short seated meditations. Each seated meditation session will last from 5 to 20 minutes with some restful activity, such as walking meditation, in between.
This ongoing Zen meditation series is offered for the first time at Lotus Root Yoga studio. The series has also been hosted by the First Congregational Church in Ripon. Facilitator is Robert Amsden. With questions, please contact: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
