YOGA FOR RUNNERS
Saturday, August 31, 2019 (evening before the race)
5:30 – 6:30 P.M.
The yoga session will be held indoors at the Green Lake City Hall gymnasium 534 Mill St, Green Lake, WI 54941
The yoga session is free to all registered 2019 Half Marathon, 10K & 5K participants.
A well-balanced and dynamic session designed to inspire and prepare body and mind for the challenges of an extended run. Led by Tracy Matthias of Lotus Root Yoga llc.
The class will feature classic yoga poses along with targeted stretches for the legs.
The class may feature breath work, warm-up movement, sun salutations, balancing, standing and seated poses, active or passive inversions and twists all offered with variations and rest. Class structure will draw from several influences and yoga styles for an interesting, inventive session with something for everyone.
Bring your own mat & comfortable clothing. Yoga beginners welcome!
Pre-registration for the yoga session is required. You may sign up for the yoga session during packet pickup/race registration on Saturday. To ensure a spot we recommend registering early.
